We have recently resurrected the old South Devon Radio Club which was disbanded in 1999.  We get together at my QTH (G0VQY) every Thursday evening between 7:30 PM and 10 PM.and are now using the callsign G4SSD. Most of us are licensed radio amateurs although we do have a couple of nonlicensed people who want to gain their licence at some stage.

WE Will be active on all frequencies except top band and 80 m. We are using an ICOM 7800, three element SteppIR, SPE 1K automatic linear amplifier (400 W max of course) and a Heil PR40 microphone.

Our members include Penn (G0VQY), Peter (G7KTE), Adrian (G6ZOJ), John (G0CDB), Ivor (G0OJS), Brian (G4WZN).

We are starting off as a fairly small group due to restrictions on room size but anyone wishing to join us is more than welcome to come along and meet us on a Thursday evening in Brixham.

For more information please ring (01803) 882769
