The solar flux is fairly high today and it seems to be having a rather good effect on the bands. I've actually been leaving it quite late before turning my antenna around towards the USA and it seems to have paid off in the last couple of days.

10 m was open again today although I didn't really get much of a chance to work anyone apart from A61ZX.

I finally managed to get onto 20 m at about 7:30 PM this evening. All of the propagation was running into the East Coast today, I didn't hear anything from central or the west of the USA. Christopher, W1CF originally from the UK was giving me an absolutely fantastic signal on just a wire antenna. I spoke to several stations who were operating mobile stations, again, very impressive signals.

Finally, thanks to Dennis, KI4DN and Jean, K1LGQ for a really enjoyable QSO, hey Jean, I'll give you a tour of my shack any day.
