I noticed on the cluster that there was a Mexican DX expedition so thought I would go and have a look and see what was going on. Well, all I could hear were people arguing and abusing each other like little children in a playground. Come on guys, we all singing from the same song sheet aren't we?, we should get along and not behave like idiots on the airwaves, imagine what newcomers will think if they hear you all cursing each other?

Anyway, on a lighter note, myself and Steve, M0BKL spent nearly an hour on 17 m this evening as the band was wide open to the United States and Canada. Unfortunately Steve only managed to work a few stations due to the fact that he was using an IMAX 2000 vertical antenna which is really only meant for the CB frequencies, however they do remarkably well on the lower frequencies at times. The best contact of the evening was into the west coast of Canada, VA7DJ, Don up there in British Columbia.
