Hi Penn, saw your video on Youtube "Why do fellow radio operators have to behave like this". I heard something similar from the PJ7X team a few weeks ago and I just rolled my eyes, one at the sheer ignorance of those calling, but not listening to their "10 up", and then for the team themselves taking the bait and giving it back. I think that they would have been better off ignoring those who would not listen. Anyway, you've got a great setup there and I would love to have that lovely location of yours and the low noise level. Look forward to working you sometime. Cheers - David - M0ZLI

Dear Penn,
Thank You for the nice QSO on 10 meters. You have a very impressive station/shack. I am also very grateful for the video clip you produced during our QSO. The video was posted on our website and generated a lot of positive commentary. Hope to catch you again on the air soon.

Penn,
Tnx for a very nice qso. I am especially grateful for the honest signal report. I had just replaced my 17m dipole that had come down during our freak snowstorm last Saturday, and you confirmed that the new antenna is doing a good job although it's only about 25 ft off the ground. Your sigs were very strong and a pleasure to listen to you. I hope we can work again somewhere down the log.

Greetings Penn,
Thanks for the contact on 10 meters. Love your web site. The pictures are very quaint indeed. I assume you have a relatively fair climate there right on the gulfstream. Wonderful.

Penn:
I was looking for your email to send you an e-QSL Card.....however, I could not find it, so maybe you might be kind enough to send it to me. Enjoyed the great QSO today on the day of the Royal Wedding. I do not use the eQSL.cc system, but instead was going to send you one of my e-QSLs created on WORD........and in return, hoping to get one you created in honor of this special day.
Take care & keep the faith,

Hi Penn,
I stumbled across a link to your website whilst searching for Amateur Radio pages on facebook. What a wonderful site you have!
I'm Steve and been in Torquay for 18 months. I'm a casual user at present due to other commitments but slowly getting back. I currently own a dual band HT and monitor GB3TR and 145.500, usually in the background. Would be nice to have a chat with you sometime! I'll give you a call

Believe it or not i finally checked out the you tube video of our conversation last year. And you right conditions for you where very hard. Maybe we can make another contact soon. the ten meter band has been working very well for me in the last week or and i am pretty confident we can make a contact. I am operating on 28.450 most afternoons if you are interested in giving it a try. I was getting 59 signal reports into the UK today so there is a good chance. or maybe the 20m band which was incredible today.
take care penn 73's

Penn,
I found the link to your website on QRZ.com.
I am just getting started in amateur radio, passing the element-2 exam a few weeks ago.
Once I get on the air I'll try to find you.
I hope this message finds you well.

Enjoyed the site especially the clothes drying pole on the tower. You're adapting well to your situation. Everyone in AR matters and can do much with only a polite voice on the air and a helping hand to new-bees. And I am not extracting the Michael from you, mate.

Penn:
Thanks very much for the QSO today on 20M. I wanted to get a signal report from you as a comparison to the station you worked just before me in Ann Arbor, Mi, which is about 120 mi from my QTH in Grosse Pointe, Mi. Guess a 5-6 signal report was respectable for 130W and a dipole at 30'.
You have a very nice website & posess a great talent for this work as it truly shows here. Good Luck to you.

Certainly enjoyed listening to you, and finally having a QSO. My family name is associated with a small town in the Southern part of England, Bruton in Somerset.
My name and the name of the town in which I live are actually the same, just different spellings. It is merely a coincidence that I live here, for I am actually from northeast Mississippi, some 300 miles from here.
I have a rather lengthy biography on QRZ. Some time when you have nothing better to do, you might want to read it.
